Halti Takes New Strides Towards Sustainable Outdoor Participation in its New Fall 2021 Outdoor Collection

As Europeans have been increasing their time outdoors and the majority of the consumers consider the use of sustainable materials as an important factor when it comes to purchase decisions, Halti is taking new steps towards reducing the carbon footprint and increasing the use of sustainable materials. Now Halti is pleased to introduce the brand’s first vegan-friendly and recycled down insulated outdoor collection.

“We offer a wide range of hiking and outdoor apparel, hardware and shoes in sustainable materials for women, men and kids. From their great outdoor adventures to their daily city commute: we provide function, versatility, timeless style and sustainability in this new collection. For example the use of recyclable materials have increased from 76% of the products in the AW20/21 collection to 97% in the AW21/22 collection. Furthermore, we are pleased to see that the consumers in the latest consumer sentiment survey made by Taloustutkimus in 2021 in regards to Sports and Leisure Wear (Suomi Tänään 2021 Urheilu- ja vapaa-ajan asut, February – March 2021, Taloustutkimus Oy) ranked the Halti brand as the most sustainable brand”, said Halti COO, Laura Roman.

The collection features vegan insulation, recycled down, recycled polyamide and polyester, Bluesign® certified fabrics and fills, Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified down and PFC-free Durable Water Repellent (DWR) with a dozen styles providing 10K/20K waterproof/ breathability.
