    1. Contracting Parties

      This Agreement contains the terms and conditions for the use of Halti Online Store (Service) maintained by Halti Oy (Service Provider). When using the Service, purchasing products from the Service or registering in the Service, the User accepts the terms and conditions of this Agreement and agrees to comply with these terms and conditions.

      Online Store transactions and customer service are conducted in Finnish and English.

        2. Right to use

          2.1. Private customers
: The Service is meant for private customers who are least 18 years of age.
          2.2. Companies
: Companies also have the right to use the Service. The right to return under the Consumer Protection Act does not apply to companies.
          2.3. The Service Provider owns all rights to the content of the service.

            3. Registration

              3.1. The User can register as a Service user by filling in the registration form and by selecting a User ID and password. The User can also order products without registering.
              3.2. By placing an order, the User accepts that he/she has read and agrees with these terms and conditions.
              3.3. Registration is free of charge.

                4. Obligations and responsibilities of the user

                  The User is responsible for all orders placed using the User ID and password of the User. The User is responsible for the safekeeping of his User ID and password.

                    5. Collection and use of personal data

                      5.1. The Service Provider is responsible for the appropriate handling of information provided by the User and for protecting the data privacy. The information provided by the User is stored in the customer register of the Service Provider. Mandatory information for placing an order include the first name, last name, address, postal code, country, e-mail address and phone number of the User.
                      5.2. The Service Provider does not disclose the collected personal data to third parties.
                      5.3. Information from the customer register may only be used for electronic direct marketing if the User has agreed to such use.
                      5.4. The Service Provider reserves the right to disclose information about the User to authorities, if the User has violated the law and the accepted principles of morality.
                      5.5. The User has the right to check, correct or remove his information from the customer register.
                      5.6 The information provided by the User for the Halti Online Store's customer register is governed by our register description. The User is responsible for ensuring that the given information is true and complete and for updating the information, when necessary. We never disclose information to third parties. By joining Halti Online Store's customer register, you agree to receive messages from Halti Online Store's customer register. You can cancel your membership at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link in an email or by sending a message to info@halti.com and asking to be removed from the mailing list. If you cancel your membership at Halti Online Store's customer register, you will no longer receive any messages. You need to re-register, if you want to re-join the Halti Online Store's customer register.

                        6. Ordering

                          6.1. When placing an order with the Service, a binding commercial agreement is formed when the Service Provider sends the User an order confirmation confirming the availability and delivery or the product.
                          6.2. The Service Provider reserves the right to not accept an order. In such a case, Halti will contact the customer without delay by using the contact information provided by the customer.

                            7. Product prices

                              7.1 Product prices are the prices given in the product information at the time of placing the order.
                              7.1 Shipping costs will be added to the price, unless the order exceeds the minimum value for free delivery. Payments are order-specific, unless otherwise specified. The current shipping cost is given in the Service before placing the order.
                              7.3 The prices and shipping costs are given in euros (EUR).
                              7.4 When selling and shipping products, the prices include the value added tax (VAT) determined by Finnish legislation.

                                8. Delivery

                                  8.1. The Service Provider delivers the sold products to the User based on a delivery agreement made with a third party.
                                  8.2. Shipping costs are added to the price of the order. The shipping costs for each order are shown in the shopping cart of the Service.
                                  8.3. Delivery times for products are product-specific. Delivery times depend on the availability of the product and the destination of the shipment. The valid delivery methods are given in the Service.
                                  8.4. The Service Provider is not liable or responsible for any delays or any indirect damages caused by delayed deliveries due to events outside its reasonable control (Force Majeure).
                                  8.5. The Service Provider reserves the right to ship the ordered products in several different packages.

                                  8.6. The Service Provider is responsible for the loss or damage to the products during delivery.

                                    9. Cancellations and refunds

                                      9.1. You need to get the Returns back to us within 28 days from the date of delivery of your order. We always offer a free return (read more about Return method by Country).

                                      We cannot offer refunds on underwear if the hygiene seal is not in place or has been broken. The right to cancel does not apply to products that have been modified in accordance with the customer's wishes. If an order is returned, the buyer is responsible for the costs of returning the order. Shipping costs will be reimbursed if all items included in the order are returned.
                                       
                                      Prerequisites for reimbursement:

                                      1. The order has been cancelled in accordance with the conditions of sale by returning the product or by notifying Halti Online Store in writing within 14 days after the receipt of the order;
                                      2. The product is unused;
                                      3. The product is in the same condition as it was when received by the buyer and all parts of the product are intact and the price tags are still attached;
                                      4. The product has been placed in the original package or similar package.

                                      9.2. The product has to be returned immediately after cancelling the order.
                                      9.3. The person returning the order is responsible for any damages during the return shipment.

                                        10. Amendments to the Service and this Agreement

                                          The Service Provider reserves the right to make amendments to the Service, the terms and conditions and this User Agreement at any time.

                                            11. Settlement of disputes

                                              Any disputes that cannot be settled by negotiation will be settled in the District Court of Helsinki in accordance with Finnish law.

                                              12. Force Majeure

                                              If Halti Oy is not able to fulfill the terms of the User Agreement of the online store due to causes which are beyond the control of Halti Oy (such as war, acts of government, strikes, natural disasters or other causes of similar nature), Halti is not liable to the Customer and the customer shall not have a right to compensation for breach of contract.
