The New Race Suit for the Finnish National Cross Country Ski Team
In time for the start of the 21/22 winter season, the Finnish national ski teams of Cross-Country and Nordic Combined teams sponsored by Halti have been equipped with a new Race Suit in blue and white colors.
Halti has been the Official Sponsor for the Finnish national ski teams of Cross-Country, Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined since season 2017/2018 due to our shared team spirit and highest demand in quality, performance and style. To develop the race suits and other clothing to fit the team’s needs, Halti has collaborated with the individual athletes of the Finnish national ski teams. Both partners look forward to a joint ski season 2021/2022 with exciting race days.
The new race suit for the Cross-Country and Nordic Combined teams is called “Passion”. To ensure enhanced performance, Halti offers a very light tight race suit with enhanced airflow, flexibility and fit. One of the new innovations is laser-cut ventilation in the back, to ensure optimal moisture management, comfort and maximum breathability. Furthermore, the length of the race suit is fully customizable, and each athlete can choose between a one-piece or two-piece race suit, so that each professional athlete is perfectly dressed for all weather conditions and for setting new records.
For this season’s Race Suit design, the graphics were inspired by the theme of “Lapland’s snowstorms” combining the power of the storm and the wind, energy and the natural beauty of the winter. And the white color scatters come from the beautiful, embedded details of snowflakes. The blue-and-white coloring of the Finnish National Cross-Country Team is a coloring that Halti also as a Finnish Brand uses.
In addition to the race suits, all the Halti clothes worn by the national ski teams are designed in Finland by using an environmentally friendly 3D-design program. The world’s top athletes wear, test and give feedback to our product development and this enables us to develop our products even further for the elite skiers as well as the everyday athletes.
