NATURE IS WHERE WE MOVE – AND WHAT DRIVES US TO DO BETTER

We design and manufacture outdoor apparel and gear and recognise that our operations have an influence on both people and the environment. That’s why we consider this across our entire value chain – from materials and manufacturing to logistics – while favouring timeless design to help extend the life of our products.

We are continually developing our operations and tracking our progress against measurable targets. Through our sustainability reports, we share updates on what we have achieved and where work is still ongoing and give a clear view of what this means in practice.

Explore our work, our objectives and our progress in more detail below.

Timeless Finnish Design

We design our products in Finland with the ever-changing conditions of the North in mind. The design of every product begins with its intended use, functionality, and excellent fit. We utilize 3D technology in our design process, enabling us to test garment patterns with different materials and evaluate product fit using virtual models.

Materials

Most of a product’s environmental impact comes from material production. Therefore, our goal is to increase the use of materials with a lower environmental impact, such as recycled materials. In 2024, recycled polyester accounted for 55% of our total fabric purchasing volume, and in 2025 we increased this share to 65%. We require that our suppliers are committed to manufacture our materials and products with regard for chemical safety for workers and end users, as well as the ethical treatment of animals.
