Bluusi is made of recycled polyester and is one of Halti's monomaterial pieces. Monomaterial design means that the garment is made of one material or fiber and is therefore easier to recycle into raw material, as the fibers no longer need to be separated. In other words, choosing monomaterial makes the recycling process much more efficient, and leads to high-quality recycled thread and thus reduces the use of virgin materials. This is why we call all our monomaterial pieces ‘recycle-ready’.
