Bergga is made of recycled polyester and is one of Halti’s monomaterial pieces. Monomaterial refers to a product composed of a single material or fibre. Monomaterial design means that the garment is easier to recycle back to raw material. In other words, choosing monomaterial makes the recycling process more efficient resulting in premium quality recycled yarn – and therefore reduces the use of virgin materials.

I wanted a long waterproof jacket for the colder days. I looked at a lot of websites but non of them had the jacket I was looking for. They either lacked enough pockets and something was always not enough. When I saw the Bergga I felt it was to be mine. The price was acceptable, the design was great and it had everything it needed. I still have not worn it in cold conditions but I have tried it riding by scooter in the rain and it was perfect.
