Nanook is a waterproof ankle boot built for winter conditions. Featuring a side zipper and a spiked outsole, it delivers both convenience and grip. The upper is made from recycled softshell fabric with a reinforced rubber toe for durability.
The DrymaxX® membrane in a sock construction with fleece lining keeps feet dry, while the Thermal cold-blocking insole ensures warmth in freezing temperatures. Halti’s new GripmaxX Spike 2 rubber outsole, equipped with 16 carbon steel spikes, provides unbeatable traction on ice and slippery surfaces. - If the shoes get wet, or after wash, dry them at room temperature or in a low temperature dryer cabinet, max. 40° degrees. Never dry on a radiator or in a hot sauna. Good air conditioning is desirable. Paper can be used inside the shoe, to absorb moisture.
- Sofsthell and other textile shoes can be washed by hand in lukewarm water with mild soap. Please note that due to the multi-layer structure of DrymaxX shoes, they take a long time to dry and therefore washing should be avoided.
- Protect clean unused shoes with a suitable protective spray. First try in an inconspicuous spot to make sure that the material does not react to the spray. Follow instructions of the spray.
- After use, brush/ wipe sand, mud and dust off the shoes, also from the inside. As the shoe dries, the dirt hardens and may break the surface material.
