Description
Gompa is a supportive leather trekking shoe for all terrains. This hiking shoe is crafted with a moisture-wicking mesh lining and waterproof Halti DrymaxX® membrane. Vibram outsole and Phylon midsole make this shoe strong and steady but light and comfortable. Anatomically designed insole adds comfort.
After use, brush/ wipe sand, mud and dust off the shoes, also from the inside. As the shoe dries, the dirt hardens and may break the surface material.
If the shoes get wet, or after wash, dry them at room temperature or in a low temperature dryer cabinet, max. 40° degrees. Never dry on a radiator or in a hot sauna. Good air conditioning is desirable. Paper can be used inside the shoe, to absorb moisture.
Nappa leather and PU laminated leather shoes can be cleaned with a damp sponge and mild soap. Wipe off any soap residue thoroughly. After washing, it is advisable to grease or plank the nappa leather with a suitable product to maintain softness. PU coated leather should not be waxed or treated with plank.
Leather shoes in particular need occasional rest. It is also beneficial for the feet to change shoes regularly.
