The Penger vest is made of recycled polyester and is one of Halti's monomaterial products. Monomaterial means a product consisting of a single material or fiber. The use of monomaterial means that the garment is easier to recycle back into a raw material, as it does not need to be separated from other fibers. In other words, choosing monomaterial makes the recycling process more efficient, resulting in first-class recycled thread – and thus reducing the use of virgin materials.
