The 2019/20 Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup season is set to start on Saturday, 26 October, with the women’s giant slalom, followed by the men’s race on Sunday. The traditional season opener takes place in Sölden, Austria, at an altitude of 3,000 metres and with reliable early-season snow conditions. The FIS Ski Jumping World Cup will kick off in Wisła, Poland, on 22 November, while the FIS World Cups for Cross-Country Skiing and Nordic Combined will begin in Ruka, Finland, during the last weekend of November.

Halti and the International Ski Federation (FIS) will begin their eleventh consecutive season together. The cooperation started in 2008 with the Alpine disciplines, and today Halti is the Official Clothing Supplier for Alpine Skiing, Cross-Country Skiing, Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined, Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding.
