We are proud to say that we will launch the Halti Hiker Next Generation jacket in spring 2020. It is 100% recyclable and all its components are 100% fixable. The design of the jacket started from the use of recycled material, all the way up to the end of its lifecycle.
The jacket won the prestigious ISPO Outstanding Outdoor award in summer 2019 and has raised much interest globally. We believe that the Halti Hiker Next Generation jacket can be worn for years. We have made the jacket as easy as possible to fix. The number of easily damaged details has been minimised, the zipper and buttons are easy to replace, and no other details require any special tools.
When your Next Generation jacket reaches the end of its lifecycle, you can bring it to a Halti store and we promise to have its components recycled. Are you interested in the Next Generation jacket? It will hit the stores in spring 2020.
We warmly recommend that you use our outdoor clothing and gear for as long as possible, fix them if they are damaged and pass them on to the next user. If your Halti clothing is undamaged but you no longer wear it, you can bring it to any Halti store.
Currently, Finland does not have any processing plant that accepts recycled outdoor clothing and processes it into new production material. We are monitoring the situation closely and believe that a recycling solution is right around the corner.
We ensure that all the clothes you return find a new life and a new user through our partners. We are also investigating the opportunity to open a second-hand shop for used high-quality Halti clothes that are still in good condition.
