Marcus Sandell, Alpine Skier
Marcus, the next Finnish alpine ski star was born in 1989. Even though he has lived most of his life in the southern part of Finland, Marcus has succeeded in rising to the summit of the alpine skiing circuit.
Marcus has been in the Finnish Alpine Ski Team since 2003. He was in the European Cup team during the 06/07 season and has been in the World Cup team since 07/08 . Marcus has also been in the Finnish Olympic training group since 2005.
So far the highlight of his career is definitely the second place in the junior world cup championship giant slalom in 2007.
