Sir Edmund Hillary: "Strong motivation is the most important factor to get you to the top". Carina´s favourite maxim has led her through her life. What ever she does, she does it with 100% effort.

After graduation Carina concentrated fully on building her career. 20 years of speedy, stressful and irregular life started to become monotonous.

One of the turning points in Carina´s life was her journey to Borneo in 1997. After climbing to the top of Mt. Kinabalu she was confident that there was still lots to see, much more than crowded airports and confining conference rooms.

Ever since she has done a lot of ice climbing and mountaineering, conquered hills and mountains and paddled all over the world.

Carinas biggest challenge yet, the Tango Expedition 2010-project, ended in May 2010 when she climbed the awe-inspiring Mount Everest and by doing so she became the first Finnish woman to achieve this. More information about the journey can be found here: www.carinaraiha.com
